Let us know what you think! Our mobile team has been working hard on this for a while now.
In hindsight I regret not re-titling this as: "People have been saying 'dude' since like, the 1800's man"
Your source page, paragraph six:
"New generations of implants are less susceptible to static and typically don't need to be re-implanted after getting zapped. But playground slides and other sources of heavy static (like balloons) can still zap an implant and require it to be reprogrammed, which costs up to $1,000. The child, meanwhile, must go hours or days without being able to hear."
re-PROGRAMMED, not re-implanted. I have a cochlear implant, and have always been told that if static wipes the processor's memory, it takes about ten minutes to reload the MAPs from the technician's computer. The wait of several days is to get an appointment to do so, as centers for CI's are most often few and far between.
Thanks for that. It's corrected :)
My goal is to use Archer as much as I possibly can on these pictures
And a great goal it is. All I ever think of is pictures of Babou.
