Play along. As most of the commenters said, it's better to laugh it off and show them it doesn't effect you than to mope around about it. I know it's hard but in a few years people will forget. If you believe in that religion, don't give a shit about what they say. You know your a good person and that's all that matters.

you know i have been bullied about being German since i was little. i can feel your pain. sometimes you feel like you have to hide or not tell people at all. the worst part is when you have to learn almost every year in history class about the Holocaust. it makes you feel bad like it is your fault. but this past year when in history class it came up, i didn't shy a way. i told the class i was and i ended up translating some of the text so the class had a better insight. and i was able to share stories about what happened in the camps because my great aunt live in them for most the war. i hope this helps and don't shy away from being whou r...

I'm sorry OP, but in case you haven't realized it people are stupid everywhere you go.
My best friend used to go through the same shit in middle school so when we got to high school she made a joke out of it. The only difference is she's Indian. (I'm surrounded by idiots.).

Point is take IrishCyanide's advice and play along. It makes life way easier.

Walk up behind anyone who says you're a terrorist and make explosion noises when you know they're not paying attention. It'll scare the crap out of them and make light of the whole situation.
